Over has grown from humble beginnings in 2012 as a simple “text over photos” app for sharing goals and inspirational quotes, into a multifaceted tool for businesses and individuals, used around the world. The product has evolved, but the vision is the same: to inspire the world to create.

Checkout.com was founded by Guillaume Pousaz, who set out to create a best-in-class solution for enterprise businesses. Previously the payments journey was complex, relying on multiple acquirers, process with its proprietary technology.

Today, Checkout.com is the payments partner to thousands of global brands such as Samsung, Easygroup, Getty Images, Transferwise, Patreon and Virgin Active. We process 150 currencies, accept the most popular local payment methods and offer direct access to all major international cards.

Headquartered in London, the company employs more than 500 people across 10 international offices. We are on a mission to change the way that businesses interact with financial services, by building the future of banking.
